2K Sports will be making the PS3 version of NBA 2K11 fully 3D-capable through a game update next month, andbeginning November 16, Best Buy will be showcasing the3D versionwithin-store demo stations.
Here are the NBA 2 K 11 System Requirements (Minimum). CPU: Pentium 4 2.4 GHz Single Core processor or equivalent (2.8 GHz for Vista). FREE DISK SPACE: 10.5 GB or more free space. NBA 2 K 11 Recommended Requirements. CPU SPEED: 3 GHz Dual Core processor or equivalent.
The 3D patch will be available as a free download from the PlayStation Store, but,of course, a 3D TV, 3D glasses, and an HDMI cable are required to take advantage of the upgrade.
It will add to the PS3's growing library of 3D games, which began with downloadable offerings like Super Stardust HD, and now includes EyePet and soon-to-be-released Gran Turismo 5, Sly Cooper Collection, and more.
Madden NFL 11 recently unlocked a 3D mode, but that's with cheap red-and-blue glasses that come packed in with a recent issue of ESPN The Magazine. But following 2K's move, expect more sports games to start taking the plunge into the new sophisticated 3D standard.
'The new 3D capabilities literally add a new dimension to the experience and provide a level of immersion that has never been experienced in a basketball video game,' said 2K president of product development Greg Thomas.
Yes, they literally do.

Ownership: more than 1 year
Pros: Ease of Learning how to Play. Great Team Mascots, jerseys, arena sounds, crowd noise, announcers, fluid movements
Cons: When blocking shots the ball will go through the wrist/arm of the defender. Stupid passing sometimes will cause your teammate to pass the ball to you when you've already ran into a defender.
Other Thoughts: Fantastic gameplay. Amazing sound, voice acting, player models. Seems repetive when you can take over a team with the same fast break point plays over and over. Overall an awarding experience and great AI. NBA2k12 is out now and is going to be even better. Thank you 2k!
Comments: Even with the minor glitches, the game is great. The game was very easy without the patch, somewhat harder with it. Runs smooth

Comments: - Can achieve 70 fps with max settings AMD Athlon 3ghz quad + nvidia gts 250 @ 1360x768
- 2k12 probably wont come out until Nov, pick this game up for the summer... that price you cant beat it
- just like any game really give this one a month or two to learn...you cant win them all... don't be like me and break your cd.

Comments: ITs probably the best tribute to JORDAN as we know it. Sold millions thans to putting Jordan back on cover.
Ownership: 1 week to 1 month
Pros: Game is leaps and bounds above 2k10. I've played bball PC games since 1989 (Lakers vs. Celtics, NBA Jam, all the NBA Lives) and this is by far the best one, even if you take out graphics as a deciding factor. The gameplay is very well-balanced. Rebounding, movement, animations are very well done. No sliding. Momentum of players is just right. Animations are seamless. Ball doesn't feel like it's on a yo-yo wire anymore. It actually feels loose like you can lose it if you dribble into a crowd.
Cons: 1. Too many interceptions (sliders fix some of this but not all)
2. It's a console port. This means that you have a max of 4 players where one player must use keyboard. What??? With 2k10, I was able to connect 4 usb controllers with the keyboard and play with my friends. PCs can support over 100 usb devices. Severely disappointed.
3. I bought two copies. The one on my Win 7, i7-860, Radeon 4890 crossfire system works perfectly. The one on my Win XP, Q6600, Radeon 4850 lags, then crashes every 20-25 minutes of gameplay in every game mode. Runs perfectly fine, then players all of a sudden lag at 1 frame per second and crashes to unstable desktop. Read forums and this is not an uncommon problem. Tried everything and then some, drivers, uninstall/reinstall, changing resolution, etc. etc. etc.

Other Thoughts: If it weren't for the crashing to desktop and the ridiculous artificial limit of 3 controllable players, I'd easily rank this right up there with the best sports games ever. But until I can finish an entire 4 quarters, this game is unplayable for me. Hopefully, they'll come up with a patch soon instead of treating PC gamers like bastird stepchildren as all developers do these days. Last year, it took 4 months for them to put together a patch and it didn't even fix the major problems with My Player.
Ownership: 1 month to 1 year
Pros: - Excellent graphics, better than 2K10, but not night and day difference.
- Finally on the PC it recognizes the 360 controller and makes the UI and in game buttons actually make sense.
- Being able to replay some of Jordans old games and draft him to any team for 2010 season is a BLAST!!!!
- Player animations are much better this year, alot more and very realistic.
- Cheaper on PC and looks much better, can use Antialiasing, and player models have much higher textures.
Hands down best NBA games ever made and best sports game to date.

Cons: Honestly cannot think of any..... you will need pretty beefed up computer to play this with all settings turned up, but not really a con.....
-Buy either a wired 360 controller or wireless adapter, this game needs controller, can't imagine playing with keyboard mouse setup.

Other Thoughts: I am running this on Quad Core AMD 3.6 ghz and Nvidia GTX470 SLI so no hitch for me, but I played this on my brothers PC with single GTX260, had to settle for mid settings. you want full experience I would say you Need at least and GTX280 / ATI 5850 minimum.
Ownership: 1 month to 1 year
Pros: Michael Jordan, graphics, presentation, sound, Living Rosters, historic teams, Jordan Challenges, depth of play
Cons: Online play, player ratings not always accurate during game play
Other Thoughts: This is by far the best NBA game out there. If you're a fan, it's worth the price just to play as Michael Jordan and the historic Bulls teams. Dennis Rodman even has his trademark multi-colored hair. The Jordan Challenges alone will provide hours of play.
